About Rachel (& Rose)

Hello! I’m Rachel. Some of my happiest memories are the times my grandmother would let me root around in her button jar for “treasures”, as I called them. Armed with a low-temp glue gun, I’d make bracelets, brooches, and necklaces by the dozen with buttons, and other found objects from that seemingly magical jar perched atop her 1936 Singer sewing machine. But my absolute favorites to make were earrings for my newly pierced ears.

A passion for designing pretty things carried me through fashion design school at the University of Cincinnati. After graduation, I had a pit stop working in the field of interior design. But I soon made my way back to accessories, and I was lucky to work with, and be inspired by an extraordinarily talented, internationally-recognized bridal accessory designer. I became a stay at home mom, thanks to my growing family of four towheaded boys. In June of 2020, my husband and I were delighted and surprised to welcome a baby girl, our Rosie.

The arrival of Rosie found me surrounded my bows, frilly details, and floral everything, and that reignited my love of creating beautiful “treasures” for myself and others. In the summer of 2020, I launched Rachel & Rose Collection. It has been an absolute dream and delight creating and sharing beauty with so many wonderful women. I’m truly grateful for this little adventure that I’ve stumbled upon. And I thank you for being here too.
